Independent (1099) Insurance Agent



Job Description
We are developing positions for licensed independent agents to build a book of business. We seeking individuals that are able to market themselves and the agency and generate their own leads (in addition to those you may receive from our marketing).

How are we different? First of all, you receive renewal commissions on ALL the business you write. Two, three, five+ years from now you could STILL be receiving commissions for the hundreds of policies you've written. The snowball effect of your future RESIDUAL income is powerful and would be very difficult to obtain or duplicate in other career types. Secondly, there will be minimal service work for the policies your write. Most all future customer service inquiries are handled through our call center. We also have a client referral incentive program that WE pay for.

To be eligible for this position you must have your 20-44, 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license for the State of Florida. Bi-Lingual (spanish) is a plus since we market to the Hispanics. Please email your resume for consideration.

Prior experience quoting with Applied Rater/Semcat, Quote Rush or EZ Lynx is a plus. Familiarity with Hawksoft's Client Management System would also be beneficial.

This sales position will have a 60-day probationary period. There will be reasonable production requirements to evaluate your sales proficiency and maintain your carrier appointments through the agency during this period and moving forward.

This is not a "40-hour a week" job. Ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, attend networking events to establish new relationships and solicit themselves to potential clients. Even though you will be an independent producer, leads will be provided on occasion to supplement your own efforts. Opportunity to eventually own your own agency is possible through the company's Associate Agent Program.
