Assembly Technician



Job Description
We are looking for motivated individuals with a desire to continue their career in manufacturing assembly or start on a new path in manufacturing learning a family of assembly processes in our metal stamping department to join our team! 1st or 3rd shift available!

If you have printing industry or other metal assembly experience you will excel in our metal stamping department!!!!


General Responsibilities:

• Complete multiple assembly processes to create stamped units using low tonnage stamping & air presses
• Assist in keeping secondary operations bowl feeders running in between assembly operations
• Arrange assembly area for individual use, clean area for next shift
• Count finished product to verify order/run requirements are met
• Visually inspect assemblies parts for any defects
• Inspect assemblies using gages & torque testing hand tools to verify-conformance to assembly specifications
• Assist in packing assembled parts for transfer to next process/shipping
• Create/fill out routing tags
• Complete material transaction sheets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly style work with more than 5 components in a manufacturing environment preferred; individuals with experience in the technical trades will be considered
• Must be quality & production rate orientated
• Great work ethic, desire to work as a team and overtime when needed
• Requires regular/repetitive motion, turning at waist, and lifting to shoulder height
