This is a permanent, full-time position as a Customer Service Rep.
The primary responsibilities are as follows:
*Answer the phone and respond to emails, which involves answering questions, quoting, writing orders, and providing a positive buying experience for our customers. Pleasant customer rapport, customer service skills, and accuracy are required.
*Since we are a small company, Customer Service Reps, like all of our employees, will be asked to help with other work around the company on occasion, as the need arises. The “that’s not my job” mentality has no place in our company.
*A good attitude and an understanding of the importance of a positive attitude at work. This is our number one requirement of every employee who works for us.
*A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to work with Filemaker database order entry software. Working knowledge of Filemaker is not a requirement, but willingness to learn is. Good typing skills are a requirement.
*Good Common Sense and ability to think on your feet.
*Being able to manage your own time and tasks and take initiative to solve problems in a professional, timely manner.
*The ability to lead by effective communication and working well with others. Communication with customers and people throughout the company is essential. *The ability to multi-task without a lot of stress. Many times, the phone will ring in the middle of writing up an order for another customer. It can be frustrating for anybody, but if you are a person who struggles badly in this type of situation, this job may not be for you.
*The ability to evaluate options and make decisions. We are a company that encourages our employees to use their best judgment and make decisions. Taking action is encouraged.
*Assisting Account Managers with pricing and other administrative requests, and working closely with the production team to answer any questions that may arise in the manufacturing of an order.
*College Degree Preferred but not necessary.
*Strong Work Ethic and organizational skills.
*Financial sense, Integrity, and an attitude of Goodwill toward others.
*Eagerly accept any task delegated by the Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Inside Sales Team Lead.
*Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail. Our experience has shown us that the most successful people in this job are naturally adept at details. If details drive you crazy, then this job probably will too.

Depending on experience, the job pays hourly between $11 and $15 per hour.

SA-SO sells signs and safety products to municipal governments, campuses, and businesses all over the USA.
