Salary: $65,000–$72,000 + annual discretionary bonus

About the Role:
We’re seeking a hands-on Packaging Supervisor to lead and support our production team in a dynamic food contract manufacturing environment. You'll oversee daily operations, drive production goals, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and continuously seek improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise packaging staff, assign daily tasks, and adjust labor based on shift needs
- Ensure production schedule adherence, quality control, and output goals
- Train, develop, and discipline staff; conduct reviews and cross-train for coverage
- Maintain accurate batch records and verify product codes and packaging specs
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure necessary components are available
- Analyze production and labor reports to improve efficiency
- Fill in for other supervisors as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and FDA food safety standards
- Mechanically inclined; proficient in Microsoft Office and MRP systems
- Bilingual and forklift certification a plus
