Document Destruction Technician Fulltime



Job Description
This position is an as needed position with up to 40 hours per week. Hours are from 2 PM - 10 PM, Monday-Friday (May require some weekend work). The ARCO Shred Document Destruction Technician has the primary function of loading, unloading, stacking and retrieving documents that may be in boxes, pallets or paper containers from an assigned area to prepare for destruction; wiring, loading and unloading bales of paper onto a truck bed using a forklift. The technician performs the preventative maintenance procedure for the shredder as required by the owner’s manual and report issues regarding the baler to management. The technician follows the specific sorting process trained at ARCO Shred for an appropriate mixture of white and colored paper to meet the bale specification as defined by the processing mill. Support and instruct men and women with developmental disabilities at the Shred work site.
