Job Description
ARCO, A COMMUNITY RESOURCE is a nonprofit United Way Agency that provides services for babies and adults with developmental disabilities and their families throughout northeast Louisiana since 1954.

Human Resource Assistant

The Human Resource Assistant initiates the hiring process by posting notices, reviewing applications, interviewing applicants to best match the employee to the specific need of the participant(s) or position while adhering to all Human Resource laws. This employee conducts background checks according to State and Federal requirements and uses specific software to develop reports and to enter and track data. This employee provides a welcoming reception and maintains good customer relations to those making application with ARCO. A candidate for this position will be engaging, positive, and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
