Assistant General Manager for National Restaurant Brand - Galveston, TX
Job Description We have a client who is a national restaurant brand looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager for their family-themed restaurant in Galveston, TX. Stability, development and ability to grow can be yours. Must have solid experience in a corporate brand, full-service restaurant setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in all front of the house operations, ensuring excellence in guest service and satisfaction through commitment to a hands-on, lead by example management style Manage shifts which includes: daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while ensuring consistency in the delivery of high quality food and service Motivates employees and utilizes leadership skills through ongoing training, development, and follow up Inspects establishment and observes workers and guests to ensure compliance with occupational, health, safety standards, and liquor regulations Assist the General Manager with all financial and personnel related administrative duties, and ensuring all is completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements: At least 3+ years full service, high volume senior level restaurant management experience Extensive front of the house knowledge; Advanced knowledge of financial aspects Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
