Job Description Cork & Barrel Chop House and Spirits is a locally-owned, artisan steak house opening in St. Peters, Missouri this December. We are seeking hard-working team members with a passion for food, spirits & service. If you’re looking to be part of a talented and fun-loving team this is the place for you. This position is for a Bar Manager to assist our Hospitality Director in training, managing and encouraging bar staff as well as building and improving on our beer, wine and cocktail program.
Requirements: At least 21 years of age, full-time position. Restaurant and/or management experience is required. Must be a team player, professional & outgoing with strong communication skills. Capable of finding creative solutions to problems and has a strong commitment to customer service and guest experience. Concrete knowledge of craft beers and cocktails as well as wines. Advanced craft cocktail knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities: Assist Hospitality Director in managing the bar. Help train bartenders and support them throughout their shifts. Opening and closing responsibilities. Hold staff members accountable while keeping morale strong and creating a welcoming and laid back atmosphere. Assisting with inventory and receiving orders making sure the bar is stocked and prepared at all times. Managing beverage and labor costs. Assisting with creating signature cocktail recipes and specials.
