Digital Marketing Designer



Job Description
Decisely is looking for a talented and passionate digital marketing designer to join our team. This role will have you working on a wide variety of design projects from concept to execution, including corporate branding, collateral, infographics, web design, and other creative deliverables.

The right designer will be an excellent communicator who will create compelling, cohesive marketing content. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for both digital, ad and print. We’re a small and agile team that is growing quickly, which means this role offers a big opportunity to advance your career and take on new responsibilities. You’ll be a good fit if you...

Have a ruthless attention to detail and an exceptional eye for detail, such as when that 2 pixel line is just a bit too prominent and would look better at 1px (and a slightly lighter shade of grey)
Ability to take initial direction and work independently to achieve a concept
Have a solid understanding and interest in modern web layout and trends, and always looking to create designs that are one-step ahead of the curve
Are comfortable with HTML, CSS, PHP, javascript, WordPress, Marketo and understand the importance of mobile optimization
Have keen judgement and foundation of core design concepts – typography, document hierarchy and color theory
Are able to properly give and receive constructive criticism as well as work collaboratively with other designers, account managers, copywriters and developers
Are proactive in completing tasks, aren’t prone to falling down rabbit holes, and always keep project scope and budget somewhere in mind
Hands-on, persistent, self-motivated and collaborative
Unflinching in high-volume, quick turnaround work environments (you keep your cool)
Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Eagerness to learn and perform steps for technical setup as well as design
Passion for online technology and a startup environment
What you’ll do...

Graphic Design:

create brochures and presentations
design and manage brand assets
design conference materials + swag
print materials as needed
Produce graphic assets for various departments of the company (client success, sales, product dev)
create and maintain a library of graphic assets
Digital Design:

Marketo email templates/design
Marketo landing page templates/design
Social Media banners, post images
Display ads (static and gifs)
Website:

maintain the decisely.com website as well as landing pages and microsites as needed.
animated graphics
maintain SEO code
Must be proficient with:

Adobe CC
HTML
CSS
PHP
Javascript
Wordpress. Preferred experience with Genesis for Wordpress.
What you need to be considered:

Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or closely related field.
3 – 5 Years Professional Design Experience
Extensive Knowledge of Adobe CC: InDesign (You know the difference between paragraph & character styles, and how to properly use both, and understand the importance of setting up proper grids and master pages); Illustrator; Photoshop; Dreamweaver
Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing experience preferred.
Strong HTML/CSS knowledge, Experience in WordPress
Basic Print Prep / Preflight Techniques
HTML Email Experience, including knowledge of client restrictions and workarounds
Marketing Automation Platform Knowledge – Marketo preferred
HTML5 animated advertising
