Job Description Be friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, to ensure guests have a positive and repeatable experience.
Ability to work in a team and be motivated to learn. You will have the opportunity to introduce craft beer to guests.
Adhere to all liquor laws. Must have, or be able to obtain an Indiana alcohol servers license. Check guest identification to verify age. Understand the importance of not over-serving.
Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Prepare your own section for service. Wipe down booths, chairs, and tabletops. Check floor.
Participate in pre-shift meetings. Ask as many questions as you need. Check dry-erase boards for new information.
Ability to execute service and perform in a high volume brewpub. Use iPad for ordering and taking payment. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Anticipate guest signals. Make suggestions and pairings. Be a team player. Help each other buss, run drinks/food, etc. Perform running side-work such as roll silverware, restock items, trash, etc. Close your own section, assigned side-work.
Gain knowledge of our brewery and kitchen processes by shadowing our Brewer and Chef. Participate in beer quality tasting panels.
