ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST (Position # LC31b)
Part-Time position; 22 hours per week, with required flexibility to meet demands of position and to cover other days as needed.

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist provides an array of clerical support functions as the initial primary administrative contact for the Lynchburg Campus. Predominant functions include ongoing essential and confidential clerical support; management of building security (locking and unlocking of doors), processing incoming mail; answering main phone lines, high customer service skills as initial contact for HumanKind guests. He/she is part of the Facilities team and is supervised by the Facilities Manager.

This position requires a highly organized and polished individual with good verbal and written communication skills; strong work ethic and accepts responsibility for a wide variety of tasks.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Knowledge and experience with database management software
• Excellent phone presence
• Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information
• Problem solving skills
• Establish priorities and multi-task

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school graduation or equivalent required
• Some administrative services experience required
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Complete all required background checks
• Successfully pass drug test
