Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations (Full-Time Position #LC10)
Job Description DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING AND DONOR RELATIONS (Position # LC10) Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Full-Time position with excellent benefits package The position requires some travel with flexible hours including some evening and/or weekend hours.
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations has the responsibility for planning, executing and evaluating/measuring all annual giving activities, including cultivation and solicitation of current donors; identification, cultivation as well as solicitation of new prospective donors. Thorough, accurate and timely documentation of activity and relationship mapping in Raiser’s Edge is a critical priority.
• Establish, plan and coordinate all Appeals • Implement new giving programs for acquisition of new donors and retention • Capital Campaign planning & facilitation • Planned giving strategies and implementation. • Manage and coordinate corporate sponsorship program. • Evaluate the effectiveness of giving programs. • Maintain a robust schedule of personal visits to current and potential donors • Manage donor meetings in order to assess affinity and ability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. • Five years’ experience in fund raising • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite, and database management, software and practical experience on Blackbaud or similar fund raising software • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record • Complete all required background checks • Successfully pass drug test
