Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Source, negotiate and select appropriate transportation modes and providers.? - Execute customer orders and apply superior customer service skills.? - Learn to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, track and manage individual shipments to completion.? - Communicate proactively with all callers and ensure shipment progress.? - Anticipate, identify and resolve customer and/?or carrier issues before or as they occur. ?- Collaborate with customers to cultivate long-term, mutually rewarding relationships.? - Adjust and adapt to ever-changing priorities and customer needs.? IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION: - Two or Four-year degree required or relevant work experience can substitute. ?- Leadership characteristics and ability make fast decisions with sound judgment.? - Contribute in a highly charged, service-driven, team-oriented environment.? - Strong oral/?written communication and team skills - Solid work ethic, initiative and commitment to excellent customer service. ?- Excellent PC skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.? - Highly detailed and organized.?
