Leasing Specialist



Job Description
Position Summary: This position is responsible for all the management of tenant leases for an assigned group of properties (approximately 20 properties). Core Functions and/or Organization Functions: 1. Abstract lease documents and enter the terms into the lease administration database, according to a standardized set of guidelines. This includes lease dates, unit/square footage information, tenant address book maintenance, billing information, critical dates and legal clauses. 2. Work closely with the Accounting department to verify and confirm tenant billing. 3. Accurately and timely maintain portfolio tenancy to ensure accurate revenue and occupancy reporting. 4. Work with accounting, financial services to provide lease data needed for internal and external reporting. 5. Lease audits Requirements 1. 1-2 Years Experience 2. Understanding of general lease terms and structure 3. Detail oriented 4. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills 5. Able to work equally well independently and as part of a team 6. Strong written and oral communication skills 7. Ability to interact with all levels of management 8. Knowledge of lease administration/accounting database 9. Understanding of basic accounting, mathematical aptitude 10. Experience with Microsoft office
