Property Tax Assistant I



Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Property Tax Data Analysis
• Client interaction to process data requests related to property tax assets, tax filings, appeal deadlines and tax statements
• Interacts with taxing jurisdictions to verify assessment, tax bill, and deadline information
• Process Property Tax Renditions to Local/State offices
• Assists in preparation for board hearings (formal and informal)
• Process tax bills and assessments timely
• Provide support to Property Tax Consultants
• Clerical and Administrative Support.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• College degree preferred or college credits heavy in Business or Real Estate
• Property Tax experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. SigerTax experience a plus
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Able to complete detail-oriented tasks with strict deadlines
• Able to manage multiple tasks
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Eager to learn and is a self-starter
