Job Description
Job Purpose

The administrative assistant provides assistance in the day-to-day operations of the office. This position also provides support to the supervisors, management and satellite offices in various aspects of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to incoming calls in a professional manner.
• Assist with payroll and invoicing.
• Compute, record and proofread data from payroll, invoices and reports.
• Assist human resources with various duties such as preparing new hire packets, scheduling interviews and collecting new hire documents.
• Open, sort and send incoming mail.
• Create miscellaneous reports, forms and memos.
• Compile, sort and file records, business transactions and other activities.
• Open and secure the building at the end of the work day.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications include:

• High school diploma / GED required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Telephone skills.
• Microsoft Office skills a plus.
