Licensed Practical Nurse



Job Description
The Arc of Rensselaer County is a non-profit agency supporting individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Rensselaer County. We are looking for a LPN to work with the individuals we support at our dayhab center in Brunswick, NY.

The LPN will assist people enrolled in Brunswick Center Services to sustain a healthy life style. They provide medical oversight of staff actions related to required medically oriented training and their “health-related” support of service recipients. This role will establish and maintain cooperative relationships with families and residential/other service providers.

Requirements:
Must meet New York State Department of Education requirements as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Experience in support of people with developmental disabilities preferred. This position requires the capacity to support people’s physical management needs, necessitating the ability to lift in excess of fifty pounds.

Salary: $17.38/hour
