Equipment Decommission Specialist



Job Description
S3 Recycling Solutions is seeking an Equipment Decommission Specialist to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate will manage decommissioning of retired IT and medical equipment. He or she will also cross train and participate in other aspects of the business operations as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Break down equipment to component level (boards, cables, RAM, etc.)
• Organize materials by category for efficiency in downstream disposition
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
• Assist in receiving inbound materials and triage to appropriate team for processing

Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
• Capable of working a consistent schedule starting at 6:30 AM
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
