Warehouse Associate - Sorter



Job Description
Summary: Unload trucks ; visually inspect product; process paperwork for receiving process; data entry; operate forklift; material handling and tracking; load outbound trucks; commodity labeling, handling, storage, and tracking

Duties
• Sort, package and label material to be transferred to the next process
• Research items with resale value
• Separate according to material type (plastics, metals, commodity type, sellable material)
• Shipping material
• Record in ERP in appropriate category
• Removal of all asset tags
• Meet daily quotas

Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on an as-needed basis.

Conditions
• Ability to work in hot/humid climates
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Must be able to push/pull 1000 pounds using a pallet jack
• Must use and /or wear required safety equipment at all times
