Maintenance/Shift Supervisor



Job Description
Softex Paper is expanding its work force due to the rapid growth of its paper manufacturing plants.

Softex Paper is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance/Shift Supervisor at both the Rock Hill, SC plant and the Chester, SC plant.

Softex Paper, Inc. has a position available for a. The qualified candidate will have an as well as supervisory skills.
Position duties and summary:
• Supervising a shift of 5 to 10 employees.
• Responsible for production, quality, troubleshooting/repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Position benefits include:
• Health, dental and life insurance offered to all employees after 60 days
• 3-4 days off a week depending on shift assignments
• 8 paid holidays days off annually after 90 days
• 6 paid days off (PTO) annually after 90 days
• Paid vacation days after 1 year
• Fixed schedules

Job requirements:
• Electrical/mechanical background in industrial manufacturing
• Previous experience in a management or leadership role
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
