Mechanical Equipment Specialist - Form Carpenters - Equipment Operators
Job Description State Utility Contractors, Inc. is currently looking for experienced candidates to fill multiple positions on a large Water Reclamation Expansion project located in Hardeeville South Carolina. We are looking to fill the following positions:
-*Mechanical Equipment Specialist* - Must have experience in industry or commercial water & wastewater treatment construction. Must be able to read blue prints & approved submittal documents. Able to read and interpret process equipment installation manuals. Must have prior experience in installing clarifier equipment, diffused aeration, submersible pumps, vertical turbine pumps, sluice & slide gates, uv disinfection, grit removal & process conveying equipment along with installation of process chemical feed equipment packages.
-*Form Carpenters * - Must have experience in advanced carpentry with emphasis in the field of heavy civil construction, bridge construction, and / or water & wastewater construction. Must be able to solve mathematical problems to properly measure for the amount of materials needed to construct a form. Must be organized to plan the sequence of work from start to finish, and must be able to use carpentry tools such as hand saws, electric saws, and drills. Must have experience working with symons handset, gangset form systems for complex poured in place structures. Must have experience installing embed items such as; metal & plastic wall sleeves & pipes, formed blockouts, anchor bolts, and waterstops of all types. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and local / national building codes.
-*Equipment Operators* - Candidates should have experience operating Track Excavators (operating weight 20,000 lbs. or more), Rubber Tired Backhoes and Front End Loaders. Some manual labor may be required.
