Job Description Deliver, set up, pick up and perform required maintenance on hospital beds, oxygen, wheelchairs and other DME items.
Job Duties: Responsible for the delivery, set up and maintenance of equipment to patients’ homes.
Responsible for picking up rental equipment and cleaning/sterilization of each item.
Responsible for instructing patient in the proper use of equipment/supplies.
Responsible for accurate and timely completion of delivery/pick-up tickets.
Notifies Manager when supplies and/or equipment nears par levels and is responsible for inventory control, including inventory at other offices where supplies are located.
Responsible for maintenance of the delivery vehicle to include cleaning and sterilizing it to prevent the spread of infectious diseases as outlined in the policies of Taylor Sales & Rentals.
Responsible for routine maintenance on equipment, and maintaining all associated records.
Assists in customer service with telephone calls and walk-ins.
Responsible for data entry of new/returned inventory into the inventory system as needed.
Assist in the office with day to day functions, inventory control, data entry , log books and may be required to perform other related duties and activities.
Participates in rotating call schedule.
Skills/Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED equivalent. A valid GA’s driver’s licenses. Computer literacy skills. CPR certification or willing to obtain. Appropriate communication skills, physically able to perform job duties (bending, stooping, twisting, pulling and lifting up to 75lbs).
