Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.
This position is responsible for therapeutic training/programming by means of scheduled activities (i.e. formal/informal training, assistance with utilization of typical integration activities) in order for individuals to achieve and/or maintain independence in a community integration setting. This position is also responsible for completing meaningful and progressive training modules that is driven by Person Centered, Employment First and Day Habilitation philosophies for desired individual outcomes as prescribed by Case Managers in a community setting. Completes group and individualized fee- per- services in the community and Hope building, including but not limited to transportation, CFC PAS/HAB, Independent Living Skills training and Day Habilitation in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards. Starting wage is $11.50 an hour.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous experience in direct care position working with individuals with mental disabilities is desirable
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations:
• Requires a current driver’s license and vehicle for use at work with current vehicle insurance
