Position: Program Coordinator, Developmental Disabilities
Salary Range: $4,567 to $6,120 per month, Starting Salary: DOE, DOQ

Brief Duties and Responsibilities: Performs professional and technical work in the planning and administration of grant-funded services and services supported by local funding sources within Walla Walla County. Position requires collaboration with diverse groups including funding agencies at the State and Federal level Departments, Divisions or Administrations and local service providers, stakeholders, advisory boards, or committees in the area of assigned programmatic responsibility. Requires sustained attention to detail, analytical and creative thought, and the ability to prioritize and work with a variety of issues at the same time. Working Conditions: Physical abilities required for this position are ones typically related to office operations; sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to twenty (20) pounds. Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate general office equipment including computers and any corresponding software programs, phone system, fax machines, printers, accessing file cabinets, and sufficient hearing and speech ability to communicate verbally, and the ability to drive a motor vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Sciences, Social Services, Special Education, Business or Public Administration, or other closely related field, and training in interpersonal skills including effective communications. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant training and experience in the administration and/or delivery of developmental disabilities services to a community or combination of education and experience which would provide the desired knowledge, skills, and training to meet the requirements for the position.
