Inventory supervisor



Job Description
Essential Job Functions:

· Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, address aging inventory, notify management of out-of-stock, overstock and/or obsolete products while meeting orders , production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
· Daily control of inventory movements both incoming and outgoing.
· Ensure proper inventory practices are being followed by all company personnel
· Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness of counts.
· Maintaining clear and up to date inventory records.
· Verify computer data with physical inventory counts, investigate and report discrepancies.
· Provide “cut list” to fabrication personnel
· Coordinate foam blocks for fabrication business.
· Maximize highest yield possible in fabrication department.
· Provide input and develop processes to increase the flow and efficiency of the facility.
· Prepare and participate in monthly physical inventory.
· Assist Manager in reviewing employee performance.
· Assist manager in all aspects of production/assist in production schedule
· Improve yields/lower costs
· Supervise foam line personnel
· Identify training needs
· Ensure safety guidelines are followed
· Ensure that equipment is regularly maintained

Requirements

· Minimum of three (3) years inventory control and/or cycle count experience
· Must be organized with strong attention to detail
· Ability to analyze and solve problems
· Must be team oriented, self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
· Effective oral and written communication skills required
· Excellent work habits including punctuality, attendance and work ethic Must be computer literate with emphasis on Excel and report creation
