Lumber yard Supervisor-Phoenix



Job Description
Responsibilities

* Be responsible for opening and closing the yard operations
* Be responsible for making sure that all yard operations work efficiently and consistently at all times
* Work seamlessly with all managers to obtain maximum efficiency from all facets of the operation that are directly related to obtaining the highest level of customer service possible.
* Oversee yard and warehouse personnel to ensure that all walk- in customers are waited on in a timely fashion; all orders for
delivery are pulled accurately and delivered as promise, all incoming stock and special order deliveries are unloaded in a timely
fashion; and all safety procedures and procedural guidelines are followed.
* Oversee daily transfers of material to other branches including bulk stock, backorder transfers, and “loop truck” transfers. Transfer paperwork procedures must be completed properly.
* Complete weekly group/section cycle counts as determined by purchasing when necessary. Complete all year end counts.
*Be responsible for information regarding all inventory stock out should be quickly reported to the Operations Manager, purchasing department, dispatch, and appropriate salesperson.
* Oversee credit return procedures, both special order and stock.

Pay is based on Experience
Monday through Friday
