Box Truck Driver

Job Summary
Lobos Staffing is seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers and/or company locations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong customer service skills, and the ability to safely load, unload, and handle products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to transport and deliver products.
• Load and unload boxes, pallets, and other materials as required.
• Verify quantities and inspect products before delivery.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Secure all cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle safety inspections before and after each trip.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws.
• Report any accidents, vehicle issues, delivery problems, or damaged products immediately.
• Assist with warehouse duties and material handling when not making deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver's License.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move boxes and other materials.
• Ability to follow directions, routes, and delivery schedules.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and climb as needed.
• Ability to safely enter and exit the truck throughout the workday.

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm
Pay: $24-$27, DOE
Location: Hayward, CA 94544
