Quality Control Sampling & Warehouse Associate
📍 Location: Livermore, CA

Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Sampling & Warehouse Associate to support our quality and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for inspecting and sampling raw materials and packaging components in compliance with cGMP standards, while also supporting inventory control and warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Sampling
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging components
- Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and related documentation
- Collect and label samples using aseptic techniques
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and chain of custody
- Submit samples to the QC Laboratory
Material Control & Documentation
- Apply material status labels (Released, Quarantine, Hold)
- Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance
- Manage retain samples according to company and regulatory standards
Warehouse Support
- Assist with inventory control and material flow
- Ensure proper segregation of quarantined materials
- Support warehouse organization and SQF-compliant storage
Sanitation & Food Safety
- Perform ATP and sanitation verification
- Support allergen control and cleaning validation
- Maintain clean sampling tools and work areas
Compliance & Quality Support
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, and food safety programs
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts
- Report any deviations or quality concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality, or regulated environments preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP and food safety practices is a plus
- Experience with sampling and contamination control preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; inventory systems a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts
Work Environment
- Warehouse and production setting with varying temperatures
- Exposure to food ingredients, allergens, and noise
- PPE required (gloves, hairnets, lab coats, safety glasses)
