Job Description
A well-known food company in Olivehurst, CA is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their night shift team!
If you have at least one year of industrial cleaning
experience in food or nut processing, manufacturing, or a similar environment—this could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full cleanouts of production lines using foaming, scrubbing, scraping, and sanitizing tools and chemicals
- Use color-coded equipment to maintain proper hygiene and reduce cross-contamination
- Follow all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Clean in challenging environments, including confined spaces, basements, and elevated areas, while adhering to all safety protocols
- Apply knowledge from chemical awareness training to ensure proper use of sanitation products
- Support cleaning activities both within and outside your designated area, as assigned
Training Requirement:
Flexibility is required for training on the second shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM) before
moving to the permanent night shift schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of industrial sanitation experience (preferably in a food or manufacturing environment)
- Strong understanding of cross-contamination risks and how to prevent them
- Comfort with physically demanding work and working in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow detailed procedures
