Technical Services Specialist (Quality Assurance)

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Services Specialist to support our R&D and Quality teams in the development and maintenance of high-quality nutritional products.

In this role, you will own the raw material and supplier qualification lifecycle, ensuring all ingredients meet strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Supplier Qualification

  • Lead document collection, review, and approval for new and existing suppliers
  • Ensure supplier compliance with company and regulatory standards

Compliance & Certifications

  • Support certification programs including Organic, NSF, GFCO, and Non-GMO Project
  • Coordinate documentation and submissions for regulatory compliance

Technical Documentation

  • Create, review, and maintain Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs)
  • Develop and update Finished Product Specifications

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain, R&D, and Quality teams to support product development and launches
  • Ensure smooth communication and execution across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in the nutritional or dietary supplement industry preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of GMP, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
