Arning Companies is seeking a proactive, customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide essential first-line technical support for our team. Serving as the face of IT on-site, you will troubleshoot day-to-day desktop, mobile, network, and application needs while managing user accounts and equipment lifecycles. Roles and Responsibilities
- Triage, troubleshoot, resolve, and document day-to-day help desk requests involving hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity.
- Set up, configure, maintain, repair, and replace computers, mobile devices, and related equipment.
- Process user onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, account access, and equipment recovery.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, VoIP phones, printers, scanners, and production-floor peripherals.
- Provide first response to endpoint and security monitoring alerts and escalate according to established procedures.
- Assist with operating system, software, firmware, and security updates and patching.
- Perform basic wired and wireless connectivity troubleshooting and help identify when network issues require escalation.
- Maintain accurate ticket, troubleshooting, knowledge-base, and IT asset records.
- Communicate clearly with end users, provide timely status updates, and travel to the Cassville site as needed.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications, Education, Requirements, Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
- Basic networking awareness, including connectivity and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and setting up devices.
- Strong customer-service orientation and clear verbal and written communication.
- Sound judgment in determining when to resolve an issue and when to escalate it.
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to work on-site in Clarksville, AR.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to the Cassville, MO site as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certification, or a relevant degree.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with RMM or endpoint management tools such as NinjaOne.
- Experience using ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
