Job Description
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
· Maintain and repair equipment including:
- Roll formers, press brakes, folding machines, and shears
- CNC routers, fiber lasers, and robotic plasma systems
- Welders, plasma cutters, and torches
- Forklifts, cranes, yard truck, and trailers
· Assist with facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
· Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
· Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
· Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
· Maintain clean and organized work areas
· Accurately document maintenance activities
· Work collaboratively with production teams to support operational needs
· Willingness to work nights/ weekends when required
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
· Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely
· Basic ability to read schematics and technical manuals
· Manufacturing experience preferred (metal fabrication a plus)
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
· Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required
