Job Description
Arning Companies is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Welder to join our manufacturing team in Cassville, Missouri for both first and second shift teams. Our team designs and manufactures high-quality steel canopies and structural components used across retail, commercial, and industrial projects nationwide. This role plays an important part in ensuring our products are built safely, accurately, and with exceptional craftsmanship.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, understands fabrication processes, and enjoys working as part of a team that builds large-scale structures used by major brands and national retailers.
Key Responsibilities

Follow all safety, quality, and production standards within the manufacturing facility.

Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals used in canopy and structural fabrication.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to fabricate components accurately.

Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Assist in creating jigs and fixtures needed for canopy and structural fabrication projects.

Accurately record work completed and material usage for each job.

Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including preventative maintenance.

Use shop equipment such as cranes, grinders, band saws, port-a-bands, torches, plasma cutters, mag drills, and other hand tools.

Contribute to a team-oriented manufacturing environment and support overall production goals.
Qualifications

Previous MIG welding experience required.

Ability to pass a welding test prior to employment.

Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Familiarity with measuring tools and welding inspection instruments.

Basic computer literacy (time tracking, or production software).

Work on large commercial canopy and structural fabrication projects used across the country.
