BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and engaging After-School STEM Instructors to lead fun and hands-on STEM enrichment programs for elementary-aged students in Landover Hills, MD.

Position Details
- Part-time, after-school position
- Monday through Friday
- Afternoon after-school hours
- 1.5-hour sessions
- $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
- No weekends
- No lesson planning required
- Curriculum and equipment provided
- In-person position in Landover Hills

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, hands-on STEM activities for elementary students
- Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans
- Introduce students to age-appropriate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics concepts
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
- Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
- STEM, teaching, tutoring, or youth-program experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest or knowledge in STEM subjects
- Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
- Patient, positive, and able to explain concepts clearly
- Reliable transportation to schools throughout Landover Hills
- Dependable and punctual
- Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
