BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring an enthusiastic, patient, and dependable After-School Yoga Instructor to lead engaging, age-appropriate yoga activities for elementary-aged students in Temple Hills, MD.

This is a great opportunity for a yoga instructor, fitness professional, wellness instructor, physical education teacher, youth instructor, or anyone with experience leading movement activities for children.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position

• Schedule: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

• 1.5-hour sessions

• $45 per session ($30 per hour)

• Monday through Friday

• No weekends

• No lesson planning required

• Curriculum and materials provided

• In-person position in Temple Hills

Program Focus

Students will be introduced to age-appropriate yoga and movement activities focused on:

• Basic yoga poses and techniques

• Stretching and flexibility

• Balance and coordination

• Breathing and relaxation

• Mindfulness

• Body awareness

• Focus and concentration

• Confidence and positive self-expression

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and age-appropriate yoga sessions

• Teach basic yoga poses, movements, and breathing techniques

• Demonstrate proper and safe movement

• Encourage mindfulness, focus, and positive behavior

• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities

• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

• Supervise and engage students throughout each session

• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Qualifications

• Yoga, fitness, movement, or related experience preferred

• Must successfully complete the required background check process
