We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Process weekly or biweekly payroll
• Maintain payroll records and employee information
• Verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with payroll reports and tax documentation
• Respond to employee payroll questions
• Ensure confidentiality of payroll information
• Support HR and accounting departments as needed
Qualifications:
• Previous payroll, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
