Maintenance Support

Perform a variety of general maintenance work including but not limited to; maintaining structures, plumbing, carpentry, sanitation, building and grounds, etc. Work requires a basic knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with general basic repairs and maintenance. Proceed with work assignments with minimum supervision. Work with Maintenance Technicians to perform a variety of general and preventative maintenance tasks and repair work and assist with other departments and miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Responsible for monthly preventative maintenance of equipment; recommend improvements in methods, procedures, and controls.

*Maintain grounds including landscaping, snow removal, and general clean up around all buildings.

*Perform minor repairs and building improvements to machines, buildings, and other facilities.

*Routinely perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean facility and work environment.

*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback in areas of safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

*Comply with all company, local, city, state, federal, and OSHA regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

*Assist Maintenance Technicians in machine repairs.

*Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein; this includes assisting other departments as needed, based on workload and productivity.

*Sustains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.

*To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.

Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual, able to work independently and well with others. Must have excellent attendance record! Heavy lifting and standing is required.
