Janitorial / Custodial Employee

Position Overview

Daroq Inc., a Jani-King franchisee, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial / Custodial Employee to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL.

This position may service multiple client locations throughout the Daytona Beach area, so applicants must be willing and able to travel between assigned locations as scheduled.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values consistency, works well independently, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces
• Complete assigned daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other facility supplies
• Properly use cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
• Report maintenance issues, damages, supply needs, or safety concerns promptly
• Travel to and service multiple assigned client locations as scheduled
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while working at client facilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred; training provided
• Must be willing and able to travel to multiple client locations in the Daytona Beach area
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must have a smartphone capable of using mobile apps for clocking in/out and accessing assigned job tasks
• Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assigned cleaning procedures
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background screening requirements
