Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitorial Porter to join our growing Jani-King team in Ormond Beach, FL. This position is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently while completing assigned duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies
• Respond to spills and cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Keep janitorial and supply areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and proper chemical-use guidelines
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while on site

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a smartphone capable of using mobile app for clocking in/out and accessing assigned job tasks
• Prior janitorial, porter, or custodial experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must pass background screening
