Senior Business Consultant

Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 base + Billable Hour Bonus
Estimated 1st-Year OTE: ~$170,000
Potential 2nd-Year Earnings: Many experienced consultants exceed $200,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant with extensive experience implementing and optimizing Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI), formerly SyteLine, within manufacturing environments.

This role combines manufacturing process expertise, ERP implementation, and business process improvement. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand operational challenges, develop practical solutions, and implement improvements that drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) implementations
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions
• Work across key manufacturing and business functions, including:
• Production
• Planning & scheduling
• Inventory & procurement
• Financials and cost accounting
• Facilitate:
• Requirements gathering
• Business process analysis
• System configuration
• Testing and validation
• User training
• Go-live and post-implementation support
• Partner directly with client stakeholders to address operational challenges
• Recommend process and system improvements that enhance efficiency, visibility, and business performance
• Support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, from initial discovery through stabilization

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SyteLine / Infor CSI consulting experience
• Experience leading or supporting multiple full-cycle ERP implementations
• 8+ years of manufacturing industry experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes
• Demonstrated experience with business process improvement
• Ability to work directly with clients and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%

Important Requirement

Direct SyteLine / Infor CSI experience is required.

Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP platforms does not substitute for hands-on SyteLine / Infor CSI consulting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean or Six Sigma experience/certification
• Strong client-facing consulting background
• Experience leading manufacturing transformation initiatives
• Experience translating operational requirements into ERP solutions

Travel

• Approximately 50% travel
• Travel is primarily throughout the Midwest and East Coast
• Weekday travel is typical, with weekend travel rarely required
• Consulting teams are developed around the specific client engagement and business challenges rather than assigned permanent territories

Compensation & Work Environment

This is a remote, U.S.-based consulting opportunity with approximately 50% client travel.

The compensation structure includes a $100,000–$125,000 base salary plus a billable-hour bonus opportunity, with estimated first-year total earnings of approximately $170,000. Experienced consultants in their second year and beyond may have the opportunity to earn $200,000+, depending on billable hours and performance.
