Job Description
Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring an LBS1 Special Education Case Manager for a full-time, school-based position near Chicago Heights, Illinois.
This position is a great fit for an experienced special education professional who is comfortable managing IEPs, leading eligibility and IEP meetings, collaborating with school teams and families, and supporting special education compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of students receiving special education services
- Develop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings and eligibility conferences
- Monitor student progress and review data to guide recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Support staff with IEP procedures, documentation, and compliance
Qualifications
- Active Illinois LBS1 license required
- Experience in special education and school-based case management
- Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and special education requirements
- Experience facilitating IEP and eligibility meetings
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary school teams
Pay & Benefits
- $50 per hour (up to $63,000 per school year)
