Radiologic Technologist

Located in beautiful Southeast Alaska, in the town of Petersburg, is an opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist to come and enjoy! The town of 3000 boasts the serene beauty of a small town founded by Norwegian-American fishermen in the late 1800s with vast mountains and ocean right outside your window.

Petersburg Medical Center (PMC) is a 27 bed hospital -- 15 long term care and 12 acute care beds. Imaging technologists may be trained in multiple modalities -- modalities in the department to include diagnostic radiology, CT, mammography and ultrasound. Scheduled day shift with rotating on-call schedule.

We are looking for a professional who is flexible, with strong communication and computer skills and has the ability to work in an unpredictable, challenging environment. A self starter with the ability to provide high quality, personalized care is a must.

Requirements for Employment

• Background Check. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation conducted through the State of Alaska in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Drug Screening. All employees must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana.
• Immunization Compliance. Employees are required to meet all immunization requirements as mandated by the State of Alaska and Federal regulations governing healthcare facilities.
