Job Description:
Respect Behavior Therapy is seeking a compassionate and
reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with a 26-year-old male
client diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This is a rewarding opportunity
for an RBT who enjoys supporting adolescents and adults in building
independence and daily living skills. This case is well suited for technicians
who prefer low-intensity behavior support and structured skill development.

verbal vocabulary
Fully toilet
trained
Primary
behavioral focus: non-compliance
No severe
aggression
No
self-injurious behavior
No elopement
concerns
Responsibilities:
Provide
direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD.
Implement
individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
Record and
collect data on clients' progress and respond to data by modifying
interventions as directed.
Develop and
maintain positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
Follow
ethical guidelines and standards of practice in ABA.
Participate
in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Ensure
confidentiality and respect for the privacy of our clients and their families.
Qualifications:
High school
diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or
related field preferred.
Certification
as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the BACB.
Experience
working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly
desired.
Experience
and comfortable working with adult clients
Knowledge of
applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have
reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client locations.
Familiarity
with behavioral health practices and interventions.
Ability to
work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent
problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in
clinical documentation and record keeping for ABA services.
