Job Description
Established Marine Boat dealership has an immediate
opening for a Parts Manager. Experience in the marine industry is preferred.
The candidate will be in charge of daily orders thru several vendors utilizing
a purchase order system, organizing and distributing parts to assigned work
orders, maintaining inventory and daily reporting to accounting staff.
Other duties include:
- Order and Monitor Inventory of all Shop
Parts
Order any special items for individual work orders
Make sure that all parts and products used are added to
the work order
Find and compare prices from different vendors
Assist customer via telephone or at office window
Cashier out work orders
Pull end of day reports every morning and bring cash and
settlement recent upfront
Assist Service Manager when they are busy
This is a full-time job with opportunity for BC/BS
insurance, 401k plan
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
- Parts Management: 3 years (Highly preferred)
- marine industry: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
