SCAN's Recovery Home has 1 full-time Cook Position

The position is for a residential substance abuse treatment program for Adults ages 18 and up who are dependent on drugs and/or alcohol.


Duties and Responsabilities
1. Work Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM
2. Prepare and cook a weekly menu of nutritious, hot meals for adults in care.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work space at all times, including food storage areas and kitchen.
4. Complete and maintain related records and documentation.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned by the program director or the designated facility.

Qualifications
Experience preparing and cooking nutritious food for 16 people or more.

Skills and abilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe food preparation.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.
