Are you passionate about
helping families achieve safe, stable housing? Self-Help Enterprises is looking
for a dedicated Loan Processor to join our team and support hard-working Valley
residents on their journey to home rehabilitation and improvement.
As a Loan Processor, you’ll
be the first point of contact for participants, guiding them through
program eligibility, loan processing, and closing. This role is ideal for
someone with experience in real estate, lending, or affordable housing programs
who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit
participants.
- Determine
program eligibility.
- Process
and close loans.
- Work
independently and as a team member.
- Work
effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Conduct
community outreach and engagement.
Must Haves
- Detail-oriented
and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong
computer and communication skills.
- Relate
well with persons of diverse backgrounds.
- Some
night and weekend work may be required.
- Notary
license or ability to obtain.
- Previous
experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or financial services
preferred.
- Familiarity
with affordable housing programs and community development initiatives is
desirable.
- Bilingual
English/Spanish fluency is required.
