About the Role
We’re seeking a driven Marketing Manager who wants to
advance into a full-scope Marketing and Business Development Leader
while working closely with company leadership. You will join a highly respected
business development group that boasts 30+ years of collective expertise,
working side-by-side with division managers, project managers, and estimators
who all play a critical role in business development.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be involved in the management and
development of a marketing team, strategic planning, market research and
business development.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement company wide marketing plans and initiatives.
- Develop, oversee and manage a team of marketing, communication and creative specialists.
- Lead the development, content curation and strategic messaging of all alternative delivery pursuits company wide.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and facilitation of strategic marketing materials and communications firmwide while continuing to develop the structure.
- Identify, research, and create new alternative delivery marketing and business development strategies while maintaining all partnerships and relationships.
- Serve as an integral member of the senior management team, defining ongoing priorities and supervision of budget, and supporting the goals and objectives of the company.
- Participate in industry networking groups (i.e. DBIA, AWWA, NC One Water, etc.), attend various associations and events, and promote the use of a client database to generate leads and relationships with clients.
- Work closely with the Division Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators to understand the objectives; help develop and deliver messages to reach company objectives; support the delivery of key marketing strategies and attend trade shows and events that help advance the company’s position with clients.
** Some travel required.

marketing and business development opportunities in the water/wastewater
industry.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing,
Communications, or similar area is required.
- 7+ years of marketing-related experience preferably in the heavy civil, water/wastewater, alternative delivery, or A/E/C industry.
- A track record of performance, managing complex projects, and working effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute business and marketing plans.
- Exceptional insight into and knowledge of emerging marketing trends, PR/communications, and social media.
- Skills and enthusiasm for bringing diverse people together to work successfully as a team.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe software (InDesign and Illustrator)
