State Utility Contractors, Inc., a 100 percent employee-owned leader in water and wastewater utility construction, is now hiring for a new multi-million dollar Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Star, NC, located approximately 30 minutes from Albemarle, NC. We are looking for career-minded individuals to join a company where they can grow, excel, and build a long-term future.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

• Skilled Laborers
• Concrete Finishers
• Form Carpenters
• Pipe Layers
• Equipment Operators

All candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:

• Construction experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when required
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Ability to routinely lift and move 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
• Strictly adhere to company safety requirements and procedures
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment

Pay will be competitive and based on experience, with entry-level positions starting at $18 to $20 per hour.
