position requires per direction of your supervisor)

General
Duties
- Lead the
efficient execution of irrigation and landscape installation projects
regarding production and custom homes.
Receive mark-up, and disseminate construction documents from the
project manager or designer, prepare crews, confirm logistics, and
supervise installation work.
- Hand-off
completed projects to the maintenance provider. Complete projects within company budget
and to the Steadfast quality standard.
- Interface with Office
Team, Project Managers and crews daily to provide status updates for
ongoing projects.
- Utilize Steadfast’s
standard operating procedures and management information systems to
capture and communicate project information.

Help build an effective production team - develop
and work with employees to build and support team environment.
·
Ensure that customers are completely satisfied
through effective communication, relationship building, and regular site visits.
·
Ensure a safe working environment for employees, customers,
and the public.
Teamwork and

·
Foster a working relationship with Managers and Foremen that is
based on trust and teamwork
·
Responsible for instilling and ensuring that Foreman understand
and adhere to Steadfast’s culture, work standards and employee policy as stated
in the Handbook (reference any handbook and standards materials)

Identify personnel and equipment needs and elevate needs to Chief
Operations Officer
·
Identify personnel training needs
·
Foster a “Safety First” attitude, safety being paramount to work
performed
·
Hold self and employees accountable based on performance
guidelines and general rules of conduct
Customer
Service
·
Instill customer confidence
·
Interact with crews and managers daily.
·
Be prepared to coordinate with other contractors onsite
·
Provide support/ guidance to employees when working on client
projects
·
Be able to effectively implement and communicate contract
documents
·
Be able to effectively identify and execute Horticulture
principles and practices related to our industry
Job/ Quality

Proactive leadership and oversight of Foreman and work performed
by Foreman
·
Support crew needs regarding work standards, equipment and
personnel needs and training needs

Work directly with administrative staff regarding contract
obligations

Maintain standards and ensure quality

Provide insight to management regarding potential contractual
growth opportunity, as well as providing insight on any current contract issues
·
Represent the company as needed in onsite construction meetings
·
Maintain active knowledge of trends in the Horticulture industry
that affect operations

Ensure safety on the job site

Qualifications
& Experience
·
Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and
reading comprehension)
·
5+ years of experience in Housing Construction and
Landscape/Irrigation Installation
·
Able to develop and maintain employee and client relationships
·
Ability to work well and closely with all employees in all
positions
·
Hands-on approach to task management, employee, and customer
interaction
·
Ability to be a self-starter, able to work productively without
direct supervision or interaction
·
Strong time management and organizational skills
·
Computer skills – Text Messaging, internal emails, company
management information system (Builder Trend/Oracle)
·
Responsive to client’s needs and requests
·
Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish)
·
FCHP and BMP certified a plus
·
Professional demeanor and appearance
·
Proven leadership abilities with organized and structured approach
to crew supervision
Special Position Requirements
·
SAFETY: Work safely and follow safety rules. Report on
unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take responsibility and prudent actions
to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
Working Conditions
·
Employee will work out of the
Main Office, South Branch Office, vehicle office, or out of a field office at
the construction site, job day and project specific.
·
Employee may have to travel
when the construction site is in another area or when they are responsible for
activities at two or more sites.
·
Employee may also expect to
work in stressful situations
·
Management of construction
projects outside of daily driving distance may entail temporary residence in
another area
·
Employee may need to be “on
call” 24 hours a day, to deal with bad weather or emergencies at the site
·
Employee may be subject to
lifting and exposure to extreme weather, fumes, and chemicals
Work and Physical Requirements
·
May
be exposed to hazardous chemicals
·
Occasional
lifting up to 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques
·
Subject
to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, pushing,
and pulling
·
Work
is performed in both an internal and external environment with occasional
exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures
·
Must
have reliable transportation to and from job
·
Must
have valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
