Position Location: 200 Travis Ln, Waukesha, WI 53189 with travel to other ThermTech locations in Waukesha and New Berlin
Position Hours: Primarily 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
Position Salary: $50,000 - $70,000
Salaries are based on a number of factors, including the skills and experience of the candidates. It is common to be hired at the lower to middle end of a salary range and while it is possible to be hired at the higher end, it often requires unique circumstances, such as proven expertise.

Job Description:
Summary: The End User Computing Administrator (EUC) provides hands-on support for end-user devises and core workplace technologies in a Windows-based enterprise environment. This role focuses on day-to day desktop support, endpoint administration, and user support for both office and production-floor users. We are looking for someone highly practical, process oriented, and comfortable working directly with users while coordinating with senior IT staff for escalations and projects. The position is 1-2 years in length.
Job Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Daily On-Site Work Required, No Remote Work
End-User & Desktop Support
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 desktop support for Windows 10/11 systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, application, and printing issues
- Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint)
- Assist users with account issues, profile problems, and system performance concerns
- Provision, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Perform device imaging, reimaging, and asset tracking
- Apply patches, updates, and basic endpoint hardening
- Assist with workstation lifecycle (new hire, refresh, termination)
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot company issued and managed android mobile phones
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Active Directory, Entra ID
- Manage group memberships and basic access requests
- Reset passwords and assist with MFA-related issues
- Maintain accurate documentation for devices and support procedures
- Follow defined change control and ticketing processes
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT staff as needed
- Escalate complex issues appropriately to senior IT personnel
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, a non-resident, authorized to work in the U.S. without ThermTech sponsorship). ThermTech does not sponsor visas, either at time of hire or at any later time.
- This position must satisfy ITAR (DSP-5) compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be a lawful permanent resident [8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20)] or a protected individual [8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)]. Employment of Foreign Persons(s) [22 CFR 120.63] will be contingent on receiving the DSP-5 license from the US State Department.
- All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
- May be required to work any shift, including weekends.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods in a non-climate controlled industrial environment
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions.
- Capable of lifting and carrying at least 25-pound objects throughout shift
- Must be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
Education (Required): Associate's Degree in Information Technology related field (or enrollment in a degree program)
Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+ and/or Security
Experience (Required): None; 1 year or more preferred
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong experience supporting Windows desktop environments
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory (users, groups, basic GPO understanding)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 user environments
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Intune, RMM tools, or similar)
- Solid hardware troubleshooting experience (Dell/HP/Android systems preferred)
Required Soft Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow documented processes and security requirements
- Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing business environment
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Intune or modern device management
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience supporting shared or kiosk workstations
- Basic PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks
- Exposure to IT security best practices (least privilege, MFA, patching)
